To allow our students competing at National BPA in Chicago to be a part of our Academic Awards Night, we would like to move the event to start after the Junior High/High School Concert on Wednesday, May 15th. The concert will start at 6:00 PM, with Academic Awards following at 7:00.
Road conditions are treacherous. The wet snow continues to fall and is forecast to do so until at least mid morning. There is currently no power in Stanford. I am making the decision to cancel school for Wednesday, May 8th.
The Board has the authority to declare the situation an emergency at their meeting on the 22nd and we will NOT have to make up the day.

You would think May would be a time to schedule an event and not have to worry about snow. But this is Montana.
I am postponing the awards banquet for one week. We will do it next Tuesday, May 14th, at 6:30.

3rd Annual Academic Awards “Night to Shine” May 7th- This event will serve as a time to shine some light on our students academic achievements. Everyone is invited to attend! Scholarship awards for high school and college students will be announced and presented, the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will take place, there will be music awards, art awards, perfect attendance, honor roll, BPA awards and officers announced, Student Council and more! A lot of great things are happening so join us for a fun-filled evening, and please bring your favorite dessert with you to share! Begins at 6:30 PM.
Due to the weather forecast, our Elementary Track and Field Day is being moved to next Tuesday, May 14th.
We will be holding a Preschool Screening here on Monday, april 29th from 9:00-11:00. Children age 4 or older (by September 10th) are invited to attend. Please call the school office to sign your child up for the screening and get them enrolled for the new school year. (406) 566-2265

All of the 8C superintendents have been in touch and have made the decision that the weather conditions are too risky to have kids out on the road tonight. Prom will be postponed for one week. Or will be next Saturday, April 13th. Everything will the same, just next week. Stay warm and stay safe.
BPA is sponsoring a Junior High Dance on Saturday, April 20th from 7:00-11:00 PM. Students may come at 5:30 to learn line dancing. There will be carnival games, prizes, pictures and a photo booth as well. Single price is $10, Couple is $18.
There is a Special Board Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 20th at 8:00 PM.

We have a planned make-up day on Friday, April 5th. We will also be hosting the boy's Junior High Basketball tournament that day as well. We will be DISMISSING EARLY AT 12:00 THAT DAY. Buses will run at this time.
The Junior Class will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser during Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday night from 4:00-7:00. Single plate is $10, or 3 or more plates is $8 per plate.
